Scott Tucker of Leawood reached the 50th victory of his career last weekend on the Homestead-Miami Speedway at the national Sports Car Club of America event. Tucker, who is the most successful driver in the Ferrari Challenge Series’ history, was proud to add this accomplishment onto his list. This weekend’s victory was part of an event that combined multiple series, including the American Le Mans, the Grand Am Rolex, the SCCA, the Ferrari Challenge and the Porsche SuperCup.

Tucker shared the recognition of the success with his team. “To reach a milestone like this is tremendous. We’ve taken on a lot of great competitors in so many different series that getting 50 wins is something we’re proud of.” After he achieved the 50th win mark, Tucker went out to get another one but was stopped by a tire failure in the ninth lap at 170mph. “Anytime you have a tire failure at 170 mph, it’s going to get your attention.” At that point he decided the race was over for the day.
