It’s been a rough week for Boston.

Baseball season may have just started, but the Red Sox are already trucking along a losing streak. Four games in, and the team has yet to win, making this its worst start since opening 0-6 in 1996. The Cleveland Indians won Tuesday’s game 3-1. Pitcher Josh Tomlin allowed just one run and three hits in seven innings, clearly outpitching Boston’s Josh Beckett. That doesn’t mean Beckett is worried, however. In an interview with ESPN, the pitcher stressed his confidence that the Red Sox has what it takes to win.

The Red Sox are running out of time, but tonight marks the season’s first home game for the team, a factor that could help restore some morale. Following a bumpy flight to Cleveland and the massacre in Texas, it’s clear the away games were taking a toll on the Red Sox. The team will play the New York Yankees tonight at Fenway Park.
